WHERE: The Old U.S. Courthouse
at: 211 E. 7th Ave, Eugene,
which now includes as a tenant the U.S. Department of Home-
land Security where work the two agents who monitored the
rally where a teen was tased after they – the federal agents –
called in the Eugene police and filed official reports that were
later proven to be false. They were illegally monitoring the
speech by Day Owen, according to civil rights experts. As he
attempted to give a tv interview, Day was handcuffed by
homeland security. The false charges were dropped.

SOIL: WHAT IS REAL HOMELAND SECURITY AND WHO
ARE THE REAL ECO-TERRORISTS?
The Pitchfork Rebellion is a forest dwellers support group that
has long fought to get a pesticide spray buffer zone law passed,
thwarted at every turn by Big Agriculture (Timber and Pesti-
cide Corporations). We describe our Gandhian movement as “a
mix of Gandhi with Galadriel and the humor of Gandalf the
Grey.” We are nonviolent, peaceful folk, into small-scale
organic homestead farming. But poison our kids and we’ll put
you on trial even if the system you control does not!

YOU DECIDE THE VERDICT AND
PENALTY! After each mock trial the Pitchfork
Rebellion Judge will present 3 possible mock penalties
and invite the crowd to choose the winning one by voice
vote. The emphasis will be on humor and the vibe of this
rally will be happy, gentle-natured fun, even as we let the
corrupt state and federal government agencies and the
corporate powers they serve know that we demand:
1. An end to financial conflict of interest on the
Board of Forestry!
2. The replacement plan for the WOPR must not
itself suck!
3. A pesticide aerial spray buffer zone around
homes and schools of at least a quarter mile must
be established!
4. Structural changes to prevent any more pesti-
cide CEO’s like Elin Miller from being placed in
charge of the Pacific Northwest headquarters of
the Environmental Protection Agency!
5. Stop raping Elliot State Forest now!
