and allegations of “increased ticketing of
the homeless” in Eugene, “sweeps of home-
less camps and parks” and “inhumane treat-
ment of the homeless by Eugene police.”

Lane Area Herbicide Spray Schedule
• The BLM will start a scoping process for herbicide use for vegetation management of
invasive species June 27-July 28. Call 683-6600.

area (Dune areas and West of Highway 101) July-August; and Cape Mountain (Nelson Ridge)
