FRIDAY, MARCH 28 The
Opens at the Very Little Theatre Friday,
March 28.
This Tom Stoppard farce, fl uffy and ridiculous
as a cloud castle, brought belly laughs to the
Oregon Shakespeare Fest last year. It requires
perfect timing and pitch-perfect acting not to
fall completely off the edge into the ridiculous.
Let’s hope the area’s oldest community theater
and director Chris Pinto rein in any overacting
and present, instead, the charms of this
goofy-smart comedy. Show dates are March
28-30 and April 3-6, 10-13 & 17-19. Completely
reasonable tix at 344-7751.
