    Producers’ Notes
EMU BEN LINDER ROOM
Working as the Co-Producer for
the 34th Annual Willamette Valley
Folk Festival has been an amazing
experience. It is a blessing to work
with all of the gifted event produc-
ers, musicians and artists it takes to
pull off this event. Without the talent
and energy of my co-workers and
friends at the UO Cultural Forum,
the Folk Festival would be impossi-
ble. Therefore, I would like to thank
WVFF Co-Producer William
Reischman, Cultural Forum Office
Manager Mandy Chong and the
entire 2003-04 Cultural Forum staff for their hard work. Secondly, I
would like to thank my family and close friends (you know who you
are) for all their love and support in the past year while I have been
working for the Cultural Forum and completing my B.A. degree: Mom,
Dad, Alex, Daniel, David, Mary, Gloria, I love you. Thank you for every-
thing. And finally, I would like to thank Eugene, Oregon and all of the
people in my life here. Eugene has been a wonderful place to live, work
and develop my talents. I hope you enjoy this year’s Willamette Valley
Folk Festival.
Ariel Zimmer
Welcome to the Willamette Valley
Folk Festival. I hope you enjoy this
great event. It is a tough task to
please everyone involved in this
34-year tradition, but we tried our
best. We sacrificed our blood,
sweat, and tears in order to pull
everything together, but we had fun
during the process, too. I am thank-
ful that I had the opportunity to take
on such a huge task, and grateful
for the friends I have made this
year. Thanks to everyone who
helped in any way; it wouldn’t get
done without your efforts. I am very excited about this year’s lineup
and I think that Eugene should be proud to showcase such a fun event
that is still free. I hope to see everyone there.
