The UO 2003-2004 Colin Ruagh Thomas O’Fallon Memorial Lecturer in Art and American Culture Leon Johnson pres-
ents his film Faust/Faustus in Deptford. The film, initially a performance piece, employs the Faust/Faustus story —
about a man who sells his soul to the devil — to capture the psychological and spiritual bankruptcy professor Johnson
