Reeves worked with her husband un­
til 1973, when she retired for health
reasons.
She was a member of the Church of
Christ She enjoyed painting, playing
the guitar, cooking and caring for her
fam ily.
Mrs Reeves is survived by her
husband. Jim ; a son, Tim Reeves of
Sandy; two brothers, D L Loftin and
J C. lo ftin ; four sisters. Ruby. An­
nie, Edith and Helon; and four grand­
children
Following the funeral, vault inter­
ment w ill be at Cliffside Cemetery
Mrs Reeves died Aug 10 at her
home She was 55
She was born Clara Hazel Ixiftin on
March 31, 1932, in Marathon, Texas
She grew up in Texas, where com­
pleted high school and continued her
education studying accounting
She moved to California, where she
worked as a Certified Public Accoun­
ta n t in h e r own b ookkeeping
business She later moved to New
Mexico, where she met Jim Reeves
The two were married Sept 25, 1965
The couple came to Oregon and
make their home in Sandy Mrs
