Vicki Gunderson has been in
pageantry work
for the past
thirteen
years.
She was the
founder of the Hiss Estacada,
Hiss East Clackaaas County) and
the Hiss Ht. Hood Area Scholar
ship Pageants. She is the past
Executive Director and curently
the Executive Producer and Presi
dent of the Board of Directors
for the H u s Ht. Hood Area
Scholarship Pageant» Inc. which
currently sends four representa
tives to the Hiss Oregon Pageant;
(Hiss Ht. Hood Area, Hiss Hetro
Easti Hiss Clackaaas County) and
Hiss Hultnoaah County). She is
••so a Field Director for the
Hiss Oregon Scholarship Pageant.
This past year she founded the
National Young Hiss Bageanti
along with Harlene Uoaacki for
young ladies ages 3 to 16, using
the saae high
standards and
principals of the Hiss Aaenca
Prograa. Her short range goal is
to educate the younger ladies and
the'r faailies of what the Hiss
Aaeriea prograa is all about and
ahat it can do for thea. By using
the saae
type of guidelines)

National
Young Hiss prograai
including coaaent sheets to each
young lady as to ahat needs

as they groa old enough to enter

preliainary Hiss Aaeriea

enhancing the entire prograa. Her
long range goal is to have a Hiss
Aaenca froa the State of Oregon.
Hrs. Gunderson has judged
local preliamary Hiss Aaenca
Pageants in the State of Oregon
as aell as several other pageants
in the Northwest. She has taught
Judges Clinics and has attended
nuaerous State Pageant Foruas> as
aell
as several Regional and
National Hiss Aaeriea Pageant
foruas and aeetings.
She has been a chaperone at
the Hiss Oregon Pageant
for
severe! years and accoapanied the
First Runner Up to the National
Hiss
Sweetheart
Pageant
in
Hoopeston) Illinois in 1978, and
attended the 1983 Hiss Aaeriea
Pageant in Atlantic City.
