elected to the Oregon Lions
Eye Bank advisory board
Carl Berry said the real
goal of the Eye Bank
should be to "provide eye
tissue to everyone who
needs it." As an advisory
board member, he will in­
form Lions clubs in his
district about the function
of the Eye Bank and its
donor program
Berry, active with the
Oregon Lions, currently
serves as deputy district
governor of Multiple
District 38 “O” and is a
member of the Gresham
Lions Club He was the
charter president of his
Lions Club and has been ac­
tive with the club's sight
committee by screening
applicants for Lions-funded
patient care
Berry has been employed
by Courtesy Moving and
Storage in Portland for 35
years, and just recently
was named the firm’s vice
president of marketing
Berry has lived in Sandy
for 14 years He has a wife,
Gerry
In addition to his ac­
tivities with the Oregon
Lions, Berry serves on the
boards of the Portland
Commercial Club and the
annual Gresham Get-
Together Days He also
serves on the ad hoc com­
mittee of the Gresham
Public Works Department
and is a member of the
Gresham Elks Lodge
