Gresham downs Sandy 6-1 in soccer Woman FB coach hired
The Sandy boys soccer
team fell 0-1 to Greaham
and 4-0 to Barlow in com­
petition the past week
John Haugan scored the
Pioneers' goal on a penalty
kick at the beginning of the

Gresham, paced by
sophomore Mike Muters,
scored five times in the
first 20 minutes Muters is
"real good." said Coach

Senior Tim Zimmerman
was credited with playing a
good defensive game

real heads-up ball game,"
Welsh said
Welsh added that despite
the fact the team is struggl­
ing, the team members are
playing with a lot of "pride,
and courage under duress
