PURPOSE: The District does not have a tax base which pro­
vides for educational programs required by State statute
and adopted by the School Board. Therefore, voter appro­
val of an operating levy is presented to the District voters
each year The total dollars will fund a reduc­
tion in programs and services, including

cational programs which are not eligible for funding under
the “A" levy It represents a $232,341 reduction of the previ­
ously submitted levy. If this measure is approved,
$404.040.00 of taxes levied will be financed by local tax­
payers without any partial State payment.
