The Cliffside Cemetery
Association is attempting
to get information about
several persons who pur
chased plots in the Sandy
cemetery many years ago
Those persons and the
date they purchased the
plots are C A Sweet, 1892;
William Bosch, 1892, H B.
Chase, 1894, Hattie L.
Sweet. 1895, 0 Hickman,
Paul Magnolia and W J.
Wertz, 1912; George F.

1936, Frankie Allen, 1946;
Madge Briggs. 1956, and
Doyle Shelton, no date pur
chased
The cemetery associa
tion is updating maps and
records In some cases,
they have had inquiries
from other families who
own lots in the old section
of the cemetery and would
like purchase some of those
vacant lots near their fam i
ly lots,
Because the Cliffside
Cemetery Association is a
c h a r te r e d ,

organization, it cannot pur
chase the unused lots from
the owners However, If the
lots are deeded back to the
association, they can be
resold,
Sexton Lloyd Boswell,
who is responsible for the
operation of the cemetery,
said lots sell lor 8150 and
the association uses the
money for improvements
and maintenance
