Vendor Pam Hauff said,
“Our local market may be
small, but we have had a
good time serving our com
munity. We are a very
determined group because
for some of us it has meant
our bread and butter
“This has been our se
cond season of activities,
and it has been a struggle,
but we expect to be back
next year.
“ We are looking for a
location in Sandy that will
meet the approval of the ci
ty ,” she said

and 362nd Drive in Nelson

a cook
She died Aug. 27 in
Gresham She was 54
She is survived by her
children. Bill Mathews of
Sandy, Marilee Young of
Portland and Sandy Oakley

in Longview, Wash , from
injuries suffered in a trac
tor accident
He was born July 14,1970
in Portland to Ray and
Diana King They lived in
East Multnomah County
until 1978 when they moved
to Sandy where John a t
tended a local school

church activities in Sandy
and enjoyed school
He is survived by his
mother and father; two
sisters. Deborah and Janet
King, a brother. Michael

missioner has scheduled a
prehearing conference on a
request by C ontinental
Telephone Co. of the Nor
thwest to increase local
phone rates in its Oregon
service territories
The conference will be
held at 1:30 p.m. in Hearing
Room D of the Labor A In
dustries Building.
In March, Continental
submitted a proposal to in
crease annual revenues by
81 9 million which would
raise local residential and
business rates by varying
amounts for customers.
