Brenda is the 18 year-old daughter of Donald and Anna
Marie Jones. She is a 1982 graduate of Sam Barlow High
School and plans to attend Mt. Hood Community College.
During high school, she was on Honor Roll for three years, a
member of the marching band, pep band, flag team, sym
phonic band, varsity golf team, varsity rally, student coun
cil representative and attended Wilco League Solo Con
tests. She enjoys golfing, stamp collecting, jogging, baseball
and volleyball. After completing two years at Mt. Hood
Community College, Brenda plans to transfer to Oregon
State University’s engineering school. She has chosen a ca
reer in engineering because it is a career where both math
and science skills are used and she enjoys both. She would
eventually like to become a chief engineer for a large chemical
plant. For her talent presentation, Brenda plans to play a
flute solo. Brenda is sponsored by Mary Kay Cosmetics.
