board of education next
Tuesday and have an op
portunity to voice their opi
nion on the budget some of

on the ballot
However, the district
hadn’t budgeted above last
y e a r ’s s ta te su p po rt
because of the uncertainty
of w hat th e O regon

its budget-cutting knife
during the special session
early this year.
As a result. Superinten
dent Clark Lund has said
he will recommend to the
board of education that
they cut taxes accordingly
after voter approval of the
operating levy
Board Position 4 expires
June 30, 1983 It is for the
final year on a term to
which Sherry Lawson was
elected She stepped down
last year to return to
teaching
Position 5 is a four year
term, expiring June 30,
1986
