Both teams are 5-1.

Coach Dan Brisbin said,
however, that Silverton's

is d ece ivin g
They've played most of
their games on the road,
and now that they'll be
playing at home, they're
going to cause some people
some problems, he said
Silverton has decent size,
Brisbin said, and at one
time it was thought they'd
be a factor in the league
race
Brisbin said that they did
a good job of getting the
ball inside to Nippert Tues

something they need to be
doing
He added that they also

Marvin Schaffer
"That crew went in with
some aggressiveness and
we outscored them 9 0
through the rest of the

Schaffer, who scored
eight points, did a good job
of getting us going offen

to be in one of those first

or maybe a 4-3, second

Oregon City is 7-8 in

berth
Smith said that there
were some bright spots
Monday night against Can

well," be said
We had some trouble
with the press, but will be
working on that, he said
Smith said that although
Canby does not have a lot of
talent, that they are a
scrappy bunch, and he felt
the Pioneer girls matched
their aggressiveness.
He said that Canby's 0-7
record is deceiving as
they've lost several close
games, and have been los
ing only by an average, of
five points an outing
