According to police and
fire reports, a car struck a
gas pump at the station,
knocking it from the island

Michael of Boring The car
then brushed a second pump
dislodging it. before the
driver drove off
The broken pumps caught
on fire, damaging Michael's
car which was parked next
to the pumps
Rathke said the danger
was no, as great as might be
imagined because there was
an insufficient amount of ox

to cause the storage tank to
explode He said the fire was
knocked down with a fire ex

D u rin g the week, the
district also responded to six
