Dalton Barton
Funeral services for San
dy resident Dalton Eugene
Barton were held Saturday,
Aug 22. in the chape, of San
dy Funeral Home.
Mr Barton died Aug 18 in
Gresham He was 60.
He was born in Rand,
Texas, on Nov 21, 1920 He
was raised in Texas and at
tended school there
He entered the US. Army
in 1942 and worked in
surgical hospitals during
World War II He became a
techmical sergeant before
his discharge in 1945 at
which time he returned to
Kaufman County, Texas He
remained there until his
retirement.
He moved to Oregon, in
1978 to live near his children
While living in Sandy, he
became a member of Sandy
V F W Post 4273
He is survived by his son,

daughter, Sandra Julian of
Portland; mother. Ora Jor
dan in Texas, and six grand
children.
Burial was at Willamette
