Car break-ins dot police blotter
Sandy police are urging
local residents to be sure to

following a series of vehicle
break ins
Last Tuesday p o lice
received a theft report after
a watch was taken from a
vehicle An 11-year-old male
juvenile was cited for the in
cident and the case was sent
to C lacka m a s County
Juvenile Court
Police are investigating
the theft of a wallet from a
vehicle Saturday while it
was parked at the Sandy
swimming p.x>l
Also on Saturday, police
received a theft report from
a resident who said a radio
cassette and a money order
was taken from his vehicle

of Van Fleet Street
Monday a Falls City man
told police that two sleeping
bags and a tent was taken
from the camper of his
pickup truck while it was
parked near the intersection
of Proctor Boulevard and
Smith Street They were
valued at $360

the theft of $139 worth of
alcoholic beverages from the
Dry Dock restuarant in
Heritage Square The inci­
dent was reported Friday

that that standard is not high
enough Johnson, however,
said that it is up to the
parents to set the standards,
and said that it is possible
that they could lose some
students th.it aren’t able to
get better grades, and who
might drop out of school
were it not for the activities

After looking at tractors
on the school lot, the board
voted to purchase an
1H horsepower John Deere
tractor.with a mower from
Gresham Lawn and Tractor
for $5.784 with the $1.000
trade in
After discussing the mat

different quotes tor custodial
supplies

grading and resurfacing
work done on the parking lot
