Cedar Ridge athletic field
for the Sandy Mountain
Festival's Black Powder
Shoot
Competition was keen in
the various categories of the
shoot, w hich in clu d e d
muzzleloaders, a cannon
shoot and axe throwing
The overall top shooter for
the two day competition was
Jerry Keller of Troutdale
He won a rifle for being
overall champ
Second place wen, to Jerry
Tinker of Portland, who won
last year s competition lie
was awarded a pistol kit
Third place honors and a
hunting knife outfit wen, to
Gresham's Terry Powers
Dodson’s nabs
second place
in tournament
Keller also won Saturday 's
competitiop, while the Sun
day winner was Loyd Gray
of Sandy
