Hikers find
each other
before rescue
Two groups of climbers,
lost in a Mount Hood "white
out," found each other last
Saturday night before they
were located by rescuers
Sunday morning
According to Clackamas
County sheriff's deputies,
the seven men and two
women were found in the
vicinity of Zigzag Canyon
All were in good condition
Four of the climbers were
driven out in snow vehicles
The rest hiked out, accor­
ding to Deputy Mark White,
who coordinated the search.
