Sandy Baptists sponsor
Youth Conflicts trek
Sandy Baptist Church will
sponsor a group rate to the
Institute of Basic Youth Con
flicts in Portland this July.
Basic Youth Conflicts is a
nationally-known seminar
which deals with relation
ships Topics covered during
the week will include over
coming feelings of inferiori
ty, tracing surface problems
to root causes, resolving
family conflicts and remov
ing guilt to conquer bit
terness and anger.
Other topics to be con
sidered are transforming
sources of irritation, over
coming impure habits, suc
cess in whatever you do,
building genuine friendships
and harmonious marriages,
12 steps to protecting sons
and daughters from impuri
ty, and rebuilding love.
The institute is presented
by Bill Gothard, who has
worked with young people
and families since 1961. He
has put together these prin
ciples for helping young peo
pie and adults to work
toward a more meaningful
life.
Gothard is a member of a
non denominational Bible
church and the principles he
w ill introduce are non-
denominational.
Members from Sandy Bap
tist Church have attended
the seminar in the past and
have found it to be so pro
fitable that they are making
an effort to get as many
others to go this year as
possible, according to Lor
raine Grable.
Thank you!
