Dennis Dries, are exhibiting
some pen and ink drawings
and portrait photography for
the next few weeks.
Mrs. Dries, who has been
interested in pen and ink
drawing for a number of
years and has captured
some awards for her efforts,
draws inspiration from a
va riety of subject. The
works on display illustrate
several buildings

Insulation thrifty, but care urged
Rising energy prices have
made many people con
scious of the importance of a
well-insulated home.
With the rise of the
popularity of weatherizing to
cut energy costs, some pro
blems do occur, however, ac
cording to the Sandy Fire
District and those problems
can be quite costly
The largest single family
home fire in the history of
the district, a $300,000 loss,
occurred because a recessed
light fixture had been con-
vered with insulation at
some point in the house’s
h istory The insu latio n,
coupled with leaving the
light on for seven hours, led
to the loss.
According to Fire Marshal
Jim Gallagher, there are
steps to take to insure that
your home is safe from the
