The Bible Study for Women will be held each Thursday for 13 weeks and begins this week, Jan. 29, with a signup at the church. At that time it will be explained in more detail what classes w ill be offered. Women will be able to sign up for the elective course they intend to take, but if someone is unable to attend this session, the regular study w ill begin next Thursday, Feb. 5, and signup will also be available that day. “ The format for the Bible Study w ill be a 45-minute get- together where we w ill look at some of the principles of the Christian life and how we as women can better live these principles in our own homes, com m unity and church,” said Lorraine the Original Match,” by Charles Swindall, as a text. Thr group is not limited to people having trouble with their marriages, Grable said, but for anyone who would like to look into what God has to say about marriage ami how it is in­ tended to function as a fundamental institution in society. “ E n r ic h in g Your Devotional Life” is to be a G rable, coordinator for Women’s Bible Study “Then we will break up into the three discussion study groups and w ill study the particular subject we feel to be our greatest need. We feel that this will meet the need of fellowshipping anti studying together the main principles of growth and Christian living and still provide a time for a small group interaction on topics and areas of need,” she added. The Sandy Grade School Parents Club w ill host a chili feed and ca rn iv a l next Friday, Feb. 6, in the school cafeteria, from 5 to 8 p.m. "S trik e the O riginal Match” w ill be a group study on marriage and how God intended marriage to be and how to keep your marriage alive and exciting. The chili feed w ill include hot dogs, celery and carrot sticks, ice cream, milk, coffee and tea. Seconds w ill be available on chili and crackers.
