Every Saturday morning the coaches
of Sandy High School put on a basketball
clinic for youngsters and teach them the
Fundamentals
of the game
The Sandy High basketball developmental
clinic has met with great success over the
past two years. Head coach Dennis
Warren (top rig h t» works with a young
hooper on the proper techniques of
shooting. One of W arren’s own players, 6-

Nippert and teammates Scott Hunt and
M arvin Schaffer give some committee

left». At the end of the day, a scrimmage
between the boys and girls proved that the
girls might be smaller but they could keep
up with the guys (top left». The clinics will
continue fa r three more weeks at the
school, on Saturday mornings.
