This new Oregon Super Guard
chain has already
cut something in half.
Yep You read that right
reqon has come up with a chain that actually takes
about half the kick out of chain saw kickback A chain
called Super Guard
Have a look at how it shapes up against the popular
Oregon 72LP-73LP and 72D (Thé higher and longer the
curve, the harder the kickback )

It’s something to cut that much kickback But it's really
something to do it without cutting performance. And that s
what we ve done
Super Guard cuts like the Oregon chisel chain it is Fast
Smooth And long Its secret lies in its unique cutter
design
But the depth gauges on Super Guard s cutters are differ
ent They re shaped to knock wood away from the chain,
and to hug the bar closely Which means even better con
trol of cutter bite
Since Super Gua/d is a lightweight chain, there s less
wear on your bar Less wear on the chain itself And less
wear on you
Maintenance is nothing a round file and an Oregon
Gaugit cant handle And Super Guard's hard chrome cut
ting edge means a staysharp that really does
So next time you re looking for a chain, look for Super
Guard It'll give you the kind of cutting you want from your
saw
After all. you re not logging for kicks
CONVENTIONAL
CHAIN
You know about conven
tional cutters They ve got
blunt depth gauges that
can snag on limbs, like this And make the cutter rock back
from your bar and your saw kick back at you

20-foot m ark and hurl
an axe a t a target.
