in this week's edition of ‘Welcome
Back, K otter,’ repeating Thursday,
July 13. on ABC-TV
In this episode, the opener of a
two-part installment called ‘There s
No Business,' city high school
teacher Gabe Kotter (Kaplan), who
always does manage to see the funny
side of life, is encouraged by his wife
Julie (M arcia Strassman) and
students to try out his skills as a
comedian in a rowdy local nightclub
Everyone s pulling for Gabe except
assistant principal Woodman (John
Sylvester White), who thinks the idea
is a cockeyed one
However, his first appearance is
less than a smashing success In fact,
he bombs out and it's up to the
sweathogs to come to the rescue of
their favorite teacher and save the
act
The sweathogs include Robert
Hegyes as Epstein, Lawrence-Hilton
Jacobs as Washington. Ron Palillo as
Horshack and John Travolta as
Barbarmo.
