The skies cleared and the temperatures were
comfortable for the Sandy Mountain Days parade on
Proctor Boulevard Thursday night
Approximately 35 entries paraded past a large crowd
of spectators who lined the street Grand Marshall Jim
Bosley leaped from his lead unit to shake hands with
the crowd at the halfway point of the parade.
The only misfortune in the parade occured when one
of the horses broke into a gallop and the horse’s young
rider was thrown She was helped to her feet by several
spectators and given a round of applause as she walked
off

THE COMMUNITY SCHOOL’S unicorn unit parades by onlookers. The Community School entry placed third in the non-commercial float competition.
