W ith the help of Denny W alker of Eddie's music, the band has taken some ol their better tunes which they have performed over the school year and recorded them so they can be mixed dow n and made into a record. Take a refresher course or two this summer, because English ain't easy As part of its program to help people help each other, the Sandy C o m m u n ity School under the direction of Judy Sheppherd and Macy Brader has organized a program in which grade school kids and senior citizens have a chance to relate to each other across their age differences. The program, called “ Silver Threads Among the Golden” is based on the philosophy of Dr. E liz a b e th K u b le r-R o ss , a pioneer in the psychology of aging "The young people divert a tte n tio n fro m the aging process," said Macy Brader of Kubler-Ross's concepts. "The kids' response is to have less fear of tj»e aging and dying process."
