EFFICIENCY IN GOVERNMENT
M IK E ROBINSON, left, and Brian Buhler captured the
fourth and fifth place ten speed bicycles while Steven
Crable. right, finished third and took home an electric
guitar for his effort in The Post subscription contest.
(Post photo)
State government ha* gotten too big. too costly,
and too inefficient. We can change that in three
step*. First, set measurable goals for every agen
cy. Second, audit them periodically to keep them
on track. And finally, terminate any program not
meeting its objectives. My goal is to make our
state government work efficiently and make it
responsive.
