He wants to m ake the registration process as painless as possible •‘We try to correct, improve and refine the registration process each year and this year we think we may have come close to a painless system," explained A lan Goodell, director of admissions The college w ill hold registration, which began Sept 7 and runs through Sept 27, in the Vista Dining Room on campus Goodell said that registraban has been moved to the Vista Dining Hoorn "to make the registration process as pleasant an experience as possible " He noted that in the larger area the college will be able to provide more stations for course cards and this will result in shorter lines for students. There will also be more room for students to fill out registraban farms, he said Goodell noted that "our goal is to devise a registration system that will enable a student to register for all of his classes within a half-hour period ." He added that it is rare for a student to spend more than one hour in the registration process. The biggest registration problems for the individual student are caused by in decision in choosing classes and tail-end registration when class sections are beginning to close because of prior registration Goodell stressed the im portance of students being well prepared in choice of clasaes and having a few alternate classes in mind if a particular class is filled. He also noted that the counseling staff would provide a counselor for drop-in consultation during all registration times "We make a big effort to humanise the registration process," Goodell said An information booth will be centrally located in the Vista Dining room and resource people will be available to aid students in the registration process and answer questions Oral Hull board to moot The Oral Hull Foundation for the Blind board meeting has been postponed until Sept 11 because of the Labor Day holiday.
