The commih .ner’» decision included reduction of P G E ’s proposed ad* -rtising budget from SI ,500,000 to »260,000; removal from rate base of *1.727.000 associated w ith PGE's share of the Trojan Nuclear Plant Visitor Infix ma bon Center and elimination of *1,736,000 connected with landscaping and recreational facilibes at the Trojan site The commissioner's order requires PGE to inform the commissioner specifically as to the manner in which PGE will im plem ent the recom ­ mendations of the A D L management audit released April 23 The ixder also announces the commissioner's intention immediately to review the future use and location of P G E ’s gas turbine generators at Harborton and to determine who will pay any relocation casts which might be required. Although, in this case, PGE did not seek to charge its customers for expenses con­ nected with its new downtown headquarters complex, the commissioner’s order raises questions as to P G E ’s decision to build its new office building The com m issioner is dissabsfied with the manner in which P G E makes decisions of this nature and has announced that the company will be required to justify completely new headquarters expenditures if it seeks to include such costs in future rate cases PGE last increased its rates by 24 7 per cent in September, 1975 Stankewitsch tales champion Lisa Stankewitsch.
