The program consisted of choral reading by the two classes, interspersed w ith Christmas carols and brought out the true meaning of Christmas The two classes also played a couple of selec tions on the melody bells A solo, "O Tannenbaum," was sung in German by Claudia D'Allessio. Following the program the parents were invited to the rooms for refreshments which the children had helped to prepare ooo Building "A " is bringing Christmas to the parents by inviting them in for a caroling sing-a-long The children have been practicing the traditional Christmas songs with great enthusiasm. A Merry Christmas and Happy New Y ear is wished to you from building "A ” , o oo Mrs. Fleck's children made very attractive ceramic plant holders for their mothers for Christmas, forming them from round balls of clay pressed against the inside of cheese cartons Each child was sup posed to do tasks around the house to earn the necessary money to buy the plant which was planted in the pots o oo The Firwood school children collected 500 cans of food to help out with the Kiwanis Christmas baskets 2 LB. Postal Service, will send Oregon personal income tax returns to "Residential Patron- Local.” This postal d elivery designation will eliminate the need for address labeling and sorting by zip codes In addition to the person power savings, department d irector John J Lobdell reports, the bulk mailing gives b etter service to Oregon residents New residents do not have to contact the department asking for forms Persons moving within the state will automatically receive returns The department saves dollars on postage for undelivered returns Persons leaving the slate before returns a re delivered need to notify the department of their new ad dresses Smooth Shave. .
