toes," said I)r. Christhart Schilbaeh of the
hospital staff following the exercise. " I
was pleased with the way we handled so
many people in such a short time."
Dr. Schilbaeh explained that in a real
disaster there would be fewer patients
arriving at a time and that some would be
taken directly to other hospitals in the
area
" It was a learning experience," Emery
said of the drill "W e made a lot of
mistakes, but that was what it was for,"
Em ery said of the drill
"That's what a drill is for. so we don',
make the errors when it counts."
