Council's D river Improvement
Program Defensive Driving
Course.
The course w ill be held Sept
22 and 23 from 9 to 11 a m. and 1
to 3 p m each day at the Sandy
Senior Center
While the courses are held
prim arily for older persons,
they are open to any licensed
driver There are no w ritten or
d riv in g exam inations. The
course is entirely for self im
provement, according to Dick
H alvorson, d ire c to r of the
center.
The volunteer instructors are
members of NRTA-AARP and
certified by the National Safety
Council Hal Moran, NRTA-
AARP d riv e r im provem ent
program instructor trainer,
w ill hold a volunteer instructor
course following the driving
classes in Sandy.
