The semi-formal affair w ill start with a no host cocktail purty at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7 30 p m July 3 The speaker for the evening is Robert Lucas, a former White House news staff member, and publisher This promises to be an outstanding eveing On July 4 another three-morning run of the famous Lions Pancake Breakfast starts at the Lions Hall in Wemme, and turkey shoot contest, and a brand new IH-hnle putt-putt golf course w ill run each day at the Mt Hood Lions Hall area' July 4 at 1:30 p m w ill be the flag raising ceremony with local scout organizations participating during the day of July 4, 5 and li The Hoodland Womens Club w ill be holding their annual rummage sale in the womens club building across from Welches School, w ith an old-fashioned lemonade stand * The night of the fourth the Mt Hood Chamber of Commerce w ill hold its fireworks show in the area of Welches School It s pancukes, rummage sale, putt putt golf and turkey shoot again on the 5th and then at 7:3(1 p m the Mt Players w ill put on the "Great Western Melodrama" and Miss Hoodland pageant at the Lions Hall The cabaret style performance is for adults only.
