Kogue River (Gene Simmons) and Toppenish High School (Gerald B u rn finished second and third, respectively Tyee High School under the direction of David Cross took fir s t in the AA division. Washington High School (Don Gisseb and Anacortes High School i Bob K n o rr) were second and third J im DeBusm an's South Eugene High School ensemble won first in the AAA division. Hudson Bav High School (Ed Sessions) and Columbia R iv e r H igh School (Bob Montgomery) were second and third. S eattle’s Roosevelt High School ensemble under the direction of Waldo King placed firs t in the AAAA division. Gresham High School (Gary Funk) was second and Highline High School (Michael Kysar) third. The non-mixed division honor went to A C. Davis High School of Yakima under the direction of Roger Stansbury Kay West of Roosevelt High School in Seattle was selected as the festival's outstanding vocalist.
