Starting Saturday, Feb. 1,

continuing

Tuesday, Feb 25, everyone
contributing one or more bags
of materials to Goodwill will
receive

Farrell's Restaurant.
Goodwill is currently faced
with a shortage of certain
articles needed to teach the
m e n ta lly
and
physically
handicapped vocational skills.
Lack of these items could cause
a cutback in the tra in in g
program Items are repaired
by the handicapped and then
sold in Goodwill stores Funds
received provide them with
wages and services.
Among the vitally needed
materials are reusable and
repairable dishes, glassware,
cooking utensils and wooden
furnittre.

released to their parents or
guardians, with formal or in­
formal supervision provided by
the court. The children are
between 14 and 18 years of age.
A person may volunteer to
work as little as two days a
month, or as many hours as he
or she la willing to give.
Volunteers must be at least 19
years old.
New volunteers are provided
with an orientation to the
juvenile department and the
jail. They will have contact
with the juvenile court coun­
selors as needed.
The juvenile department will
accept donations of any games
or craft materials which can be
used in a small area, which are
durable, and which meet safety
requirem ents. A ll donations
are tax deductible.
