THE M EANING of my horoscope for this month suddenly
became very clear. I generally tend to follow the ones in
Cosmopolitan because they’re usually more exciting It said
toward the end of October a new man would come tap-dancing
(their very words) into my life. Well “ Cosmo,” you were just a
wee bit off The tap-dancer turned out to be more like Shirley
Temple. Disappointing
.yes. In the future, if you could be a
little more explicit, at least I ’d know what toexpect!

Hoodland Rescue and Emergency Care Unit will be the featured
speaker. Members are urged to attend.
THE MT. PLAYERS regular meeting will be Wednesday night
Nov. 6 at the Lion’s Hall at 8 p.m The new slate of officers will be
presented.
CHILDREN, DON’T FORGET the annual Halloween Hap­
pening, “ Spook Alley,” tonight from 7 to 9 p.m at the Hoodland
Park Plaza This is for youngsters age two through the eighth
