College foundation m eeting set The Clackamas Community College Foundation w ill hold its annual meeting Wednesday. Oct 6, at 8 p.m. in the college board room in Barlow Hall. The meeting is open to the public. View senior men’s group entertained the 9-hole women’ s group in an in vitational play day Surviving the day’s play with low gross were Vada Busby, president of the w om en’s group, and Joe Schwab, in charge of the men’s group for the day Paul Sargent and blind partner, Donna Long, came through with low net. Lou Coffin and Donna Long took low putts for the day. Second low net went to Adeline Lundstrom and Harold Osborne. Lou Chianello and Albert Olbrich tied with Alice Correll and Joe Perry for thud, while fourth was a tie among Connie Tallman and Earl Harr, Donna Long and Lou Coffin and Ruth Osborne and Charlie Jett. Honors for high gross were taken by Maxine Warren and Werner Hendricksen, w hile Evelyn Painter, lady in charge of the day, took the door prize The sixth hole was chosen for the closest to the pin contest. Women with under a 12 han dicap were edged by Jean M iller, and over 12 was taken by Alice Correll. Clayton W ills, Clackamas County Extension Agent, suggests the meeting w ill be helpful to woodland owners who anticipa te harvesting poles, posts or logs within the coming year Garland w ill show colored slides and discuss logging methods and equipment now in use by Oregon woodland owners. . The meeting, co-sponsorea by the Clackamas County Extension Service and the Clackamas County F arm Forestry Association, w ill also provide time for discussion of other subjects including farm ,v,wuiland taxation, markets for Sandy Truck Lines and these other sponsors present the “Athlete of the week”........
