She carried it as “ something o ld ,” and “ something borrowed’’ during the ceremony Aug. 10 at the Tri-City Conservative Baptist Church Parents of the bride, who graduated from Riddle High School 1971 and attended Judson Baptist College, are M r and Mrs. Marvin L. Johnson, Riddle. M r and Mrs. Verne R. Buhler, Sandy, are parents of the groom, who is a 1971 graduate of Sandy High School, and also attended Judson Baptist College Basket arrangem ents of white, pink, blue, and lavender summer flowers decorated the candle-lit altar of the church for the 3 p.m. service officiated by the Rev. Lyle Wilson. Candlelighters were the bride’s twin brothers, Tim and Tom Johnson. Providing organ music was Mrs. Lyle Fosmark. Soloist was a friend of the couple, Kip Holbrook, Pleasant Hill, who sang “The Russ’s Song,” “ I ’ll Walk Alone,” and “Whither Thou Goest.” Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of white organza over peau de soie with re em broidered C hantilly lace. Styled with a high neckline, fitted bodice, and brush train, the gown was trimmed with the same lace, which was used to trim the border of the bride’s illusion mantilla. Along with the heirloom handerchief, the form er Kathleen Lynn Johnson carried a cascade of white roses and carnations, with blue and lavender baby roses, trimmed with ribbon streamers in the same colors as the flowers. Maid of honor was a cousin of the bride, Pam H eikkila, Newaygo, Mich., who wore a floor length gown of sheer lavender flocked nylon. It was designed with a high neckline, an empire waist, and butterfly sleeves. A nosegay of white daisies, with baby roses and feathered carnations in lavender and blue com plemented her costume. The mother of the bride wore a floor length gown of powder blue polyester, accented by a corsage of white baby roses. A floor length gown of aqua polyester was the choice of the groom’s mother, who also wore a corsage of white roses. During the ceremony, each was presented with a rose by the bride. The church youth room was the scene of the reception which followed. Assisting were Mrs. Dennis Hunt, Mrs. Richard McKinnis, M rs.
