Bavarian Cream
1 envelope Kn?v un­
flavored gelatin
6 tablespoons sugar
W teaspoon salt
2 eggs separated
V. cup water
•1 - 10 oz. package frozen
strawberries (thawed)
1 teaspoon grated lemon
peel
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup Cool Whip (thawed)
M ix g elatin, V« cup
sugar, and salt in top of
double
boiler.
Beat
together egg yolks and
w a te r; add to gelatin
m ix tire Add completely
thawed strawberries Cook
over boiling water, stirring
constantly When gelatin is
dissolved, about 8 minutes;
remove from heat Add
lemon rind and juice Chill
to unbeaten egg white
consistency. Beat egg
whites until stiff; beat in 2
tablespoons sugar Fold in
gelatin m ix tire Fold Cool
Whip into gelatin mixture
Turn into 4 cup mold; chill
until firm
