corporate boundaries of the City of
Sandy, Oregon, tor their approval or
reiection a certain question, the
ballot title of which is designated as
follows:
Shall the City ot Sandy, Oregon, be
empowered to issue general
obligation bonds in amount not to
exceed 51,300,000.00 payable over a
period ot 40 years. Proceeds from
the bonds shall be used to
construct new w ater supply,
distribution and storage facilities,
now or within the future existing,
within and without the boundar ;es of
the City ot Sandy, Oregon, and to
acquire real property necessary to
accomplish such improvements
There shall be one polling place
for said special election, to wit:
Sandy City Hall and the polls shall

Superintendent Darrel Turner,
similar awards will be given in

ment. Lindow will receive a
plaque to mark the honor
Born in 1913 in Enid, Okla.,
Lindow came to Oregon in 1918.
He met his wife, Norma, at the
1936 state fa ir With a run-down
96 acres, he started his dairy
herd in 1940 He had three
cows—one wouldn’t breed, one
wouldn't milk, and one died
Since then the Lindow herd
has won at least 10 national
champion awards. Lindow now
works in the Independence port
office, and a son tends his
cattle.
