Boring School reports current projects
Boring Middle School has a
very realistic student council
this year We have a Senate and
a House of Representatives
Bills are presented and voted
upon in each House. If a bill
passes one house but fails the
second, the vote then goes to
the students, provided they are
registered voters.
This year we have been
especially busy with special
projects and fun days. Dec 11 -
18 we held a food drive for the
needy people of the Boring
community. We collected a
variety of cans, with the third
grade collecting the most.
December 20, the students
participated in “ Hat Day".
Everyone wore hats and there
seemed to be quite a variety of
unusual hats The winners with
the most unusual hats were Mr
Wanvig, Wendy Sprouse, and
Jeff Colt Jan. 11 we had an
‘ ‘Occupation
Day“ . The
students dressed up in
costumes to show what they
wanted to be when they grew
up Some of the students
dressed up like doctors, nurses,
baseball players, farm ers,
motorcycle riders, housewives,
painters, and many others.
Thursday, Jan. 24, we had
