has told tree cutter* what areas
are open for tree cutting, what
day* are open and what tim e
during the day to cut trees
In the Zig Zag area, the tree
cutting areas are off of Lolo
Pass Rd and the Trillium Lake
ltd Forest Service personnel
have been available at the
entrance to the tree cutting
sites to assist those wishing to
find certain species of trees
Also the Forest S ervice
personnel have been checking
individuals for permits.
N early 1,700 Oregon drivers
have had their licenses to drive
suspended for 90 days this year
because they have refused to
take a c h em ical test to
determine how much alcohol
was in their blood
Under the state’s implied
consent law, refusal to take a
test after arrested for a driving
while intoxicated charge is
grounds for a 90-day license
suspension This suspension
has no relationship to the
subsequent outcome of the
drinking charge
