A second annual Western
Barbecue and Hoe-Down at
tr a d e d o ver 750 students,
community citizens and college
staff
The barbeque pit hosted
games, sing along» and a steak
dinner
"This was really an event for
the whole fa m ily ," said Tom
N ielsen, associate dean of
student affairs
"Everyone participated in
the games, and over 200 people
joined the square dance
session "
Outstanding response to the
event reflects a desire for old-
fashion family and community
gatherings, contends Nielsen
"And we re here to provide
it," he said
