automobile accident. He was 19
years of age.
Richard Michael Baxter was
born on July 22. 1953 in Port
land At an early age he moved
to Tillam ook where he later
attended school until 1967 when
he moved to Reedsport to live
for two years in 1969 he moved
to Portland where he attended
David Douglas High School
The following year he entered
his senior year at Sandy High
School He was active on the
track mam while attending
school A fter his graduation in
1971 he began working for his
father at the Sandy Cycle
Center as a m o to r cycle
mechanic.

Gresham area, died Sept 7 in
M ill Vailey, Calif in an ac
cident
Iro n Cloud was born in
Portland, the son of Thomas
and Elizabeth Iron Cloud He
spent his entire life in the
Gresham-Sandy area He at
tended Orient Grade School and
Gresham High School After
leaving high school, he moved
to the San Francisco area and
resided there until his death

Funeral services for Iron
Cloud were Wednesday, Sept
20, at 1 30 p m at the Bateman
Funeral Chapel in Gresham
Interment followed at Forest
Lawn Cemetery in Gresham
He is survived by his mother
Mrs Elizabeth Schneider and
half brothers Leon Schneider of
Oregon City, and Irvin Iron
Cloud of Poplar, Mont Also
surviving are a sister Roberta
Iron Cloud of Sandy and a half
sister Mrs Elizabeth Jones of
M arvsville. Wash
and was able to prevent the fire from
spreading to the main house.

The tests are designed by the
Metro Area Test Board for the
purpose of comparing "Johnnie
Jones" as a tenth grader with
the same “ Johnnie Jones" as
an eleventh grader The test is
not designed to compare two
different students directly to
each other The test may be
used to evaluate how well a
student is progressing as
com pared to the average
students in his class.
