Funeral services for Frank
Clifford Banta were held
November 24, 1971 in the
Chapel of Sandy Funeral
Home. Interm ent was at
Willamette National Cemetery,
Portland.
Mr. Banta was born Aug. 20,
1917 in the Dalles and died Nov.
21, 1971 near Brightwood at the
age of 54 years.
Frank Banta was raised in
the Dalles where he attended
high school In 1941 he joined
the Army and spent 3 years
service overseas. After his
discharge in 1945 he worked in
logging and truck driving in the
Sandy, Estacada, and Portland
areas. In 1950 he returned to
live in the Dalles until 1955
when he moved to the Sandy
Area to live.
He is survived by his
parents: Mr. and Mrs. Rav
Shuster, Sandy; Aunt: Mrs.
Lulu Ruble, Portland; Uncle:
Ed Strahm, the Dalles.
