The proposed project consists of reconstruction of the existing at grade intersection to provide for a full interchange. Herb Oster of Millstone, Mont, and Albert Oster of Enid, O kla.; one sister Mrs. Wayne (Clara) Peterson . of Seattle, and three half brothers, Fred, Richard and Walter Yauch all of Benton Harbor, Mich. Riley, 65, a resident of Boring for the past 30 years, died at her home on Aug. 3 after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held at the | Bateman Funeral Chapel on Friday, Aug. 6. Violet Frances Morris was bom in Oklahoma. At an early age she moved to Denver, Colo, where she received her education and in 1938 was married to Harley Riley in Denver. The Rileys made their home in Denver for three years before coming to Boring in 1941 Mrs. Riley is survived by her husband, Harley, of Boring; three sons, Delmar, Morris and Clinton Saunders of Denver. Colo.; a brother Ernest Mcrris of Chico, Calif., and two sisters, M rs. Catherine Knapp of Mulino, and M rs. Naomi Hurlburt of Missouri Three grandchildren also survive Interment was at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland Tom Scales In college play Tom Scales, a sophomore in drama from Sandy is a dancer and also shop assistant for set construction in the Oregon College of Education production of “ Kiss Me Kate,” high point of the OCE Summer Arts Festival. “ Kiss Me Kate” is a musical with score by Cole Porter and includes scenes from Shakespears “Taming of the Shrew” along with the trials of a troupe of travelling actors The plot draws a comic parallel between the Shakespearean play and backstage incidents in the lives of members of the troup Gangsters, a forged “ I.O .U ." and personal problems of the actors keep the action moving quickly along The production is being presented July 36-31 and Aug. 3- 4 6-7 at the OCE Summer under certain conditions the acidity of tomatoes varies.
