Freshmen Trails open, fire season starts Campground maintenance of the Forest Service are making some headway; campgrounds open with water on now include Camp Creek. Tollgate, Riley and McNeil. Green Canyon is open, but as yet does not have water on. With all the warm weather the snow level is rising and opening up a few more miles of trail. Still Creek and Flag Mountain Trails are now open, along with about 5 or 6 miles of Salm on R iver T rail. The Ramona Falls Loop will not be open until after May 15. The snow should be about gone by then.
