THE BOOKWORM The Sandy Public Library will soon move to its new quarters in the east wing, top floor of the new Sandy City Hall building. We will announce the date here as soon as we know definitely what it will be. The hours the library will be open will be doubled. It will be open every afternoon except Friday and Sunday and also will be open three evenings a week, according to plans of the Library Board. Bride Fashions Wedding Gown Melva Ruth Richey made her own wedding gown when she ‘married Gary Keith Moore Sept. 6 at Sandy Presbyterian Church. The gown had an empire waist with bishop sleeves lace bodice and a satin underskirt covered with chiffon. She wore a finger tip illusion veil and bouquet of carried a step han otis ivy and w hite carnations. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melville Richey, Rt. 3, Box 1308, Boring, and a Sandy High graduate. She attended Oregon State University, He attended Central Oregon C ollege and Oregon State University and is employed as a staff trainee at the First ' National Bank. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Moore, Cascade Locks. Rev. P aul Ackerm an perform ed the double ring ceremony. Larry Verdoorn was organist and Ronald Verdoorn and Mrs. R. Dale Sharp were singers The bride’s father escorted her down the aisle. Her colors were m oss green and gold. Myrna Richey was maid of honor for her sister wearing a moss green chiffon over taffeta gown. She carried a bouquet of y e llo w p om pom chrysanthemums with moss green streamers. Its short-sleeved bodice of lace featured a scalloped neckline while the skirt, fashioned with a scalloped hemline, was inset with panels of lace.
